Since I’ve been using google analytics now for a couple of weeks. (Yes I got in early.) I’ve noticed that there’s some issues with it, and wanted to report them here:

  • Data No Showing Up In Firefox - I’m not able to figure out why this is happening, but some of my data was not showing up in the stats when I was using Firefox, but when I tried out Internet Expolorer it seemed to work. This is doesn’t make sense since they are running Flash, which should be indepedent of browsers, but what can I saw, that’s what I experienced.

Hopefully they fix this cause I don’t use IE as my primary browser.

  • It takes some time for the data to be updated - I’ve noticed that sometimes the analytics are about 24 hours behind, and sometimes it’s only a couple of hours. I know they are overwhelmed with the response, but this is Google, where’s that dark fiber?

  1. Have you any issues in Firefox / Explorer where the graphics load but the data / graphs don’t appear to populate?

  2. I’ve started using Firefox again with Google Analytics, and it seems to be working again. But sometimes it takes a little bit longer to load, and since it’s done in Flash, the loading is being done in the background, so you really can’t follow the load in the Status bar of your browser. But I’d give it five minutes to test it out and I’m sure they will come up for you too.
